Miley Cyrus’s controversial Bangerz Tour hits the United States in all its craziness.
Her on-stage antics, from racy costumes and lewd dancing to simulating a sex act with a President Clinton look-a-like, reportedly sparked protests and calls to cancel her show.

But the report appears to have been widely overblown. Live Nation, the tour company in charge of her show, has denied that venues are backing out of the show as a result of complaints.

“There is no truth whatsoever to any stories or rumors of venues pulling out of the Bangerz Tour,” Live Nation said in a statement.
“Miley has created a tour that’s big, spectacular, entertaining and everything you would expect from Miley Cyrus. Reviews have been amazing and most important, fans are loving the show and having a great time.”

Indeed, her first two U.S. shows in Tacoma, Wash., and Aniheim, Calif., have been packed. Miley caused a stir a her Tacoma show by sitting astride a backup dancer and riding her cowgirl style. She also gyrated and twerked like there was no tomorrow.
She also continues to show off plenty of skin in a super-tight and super-high-cut body suits.
At her Feb. 20 Anaheim show, Miley’s parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus and brother Trace Cyrus were spotted in the crowd.

She spared none of the crotch grabbing and spread-eagle butt baring that has marked her other shows.
Miley kicked off the tour in in Vancouver, Canada on Valentine’s Day.
She’ll hit 38 cities in North America and Canada on this leg of her tour, before moving on to Europe. It if her latest shows are any guide, it will be a wild ride.
