Jennifer Lawrence was an eyeful in all 126 minutes of the theatrical version “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” But if you hunger for more, the new DVD and Blu-Ray releases are the place to get them.

The new discs are the only way to get the full flavor of the movie, at least until a director’s cut comes out.

The second movie of the “Hunger Games” saga was released on disc Mar. 7. In addition to 45-minutes of deleted scenes, it also includes director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson commenting on the film.

“Surviving the Game: Making Catching Fire,” A nine-part, feature-length documentary is also included on the Blu-Ray version.

The standard release for “Catching Fire” includes the film in DVD/Blu-ray, Ultraviolet and also has 130 minutes of bonus footage.

In the film, Lawrence plays Katniss Everdeen, who lives in a brutal post-apocalyptic country, Panem, ruled by a ruthless dictator from the Capitol.

The elite live lavishly while the rest of the population, divided into 12 districts, survives on a bare-bones existence.

The Hunger Games are staged each year both as diversion and a reminder that the Capitol is all-powerful. Katniss was one of 24 tributes who fought to the death in the first movie. she survives with her district-mate, Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), and become champions.

But they are forced to fight again to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the games, which pits past champions against each other. Panem’s autocratic ruler sees her as a threat after she becomes a symbol of a brewing rebellion and secretly tries to elminate her.

The third film, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1,” is set for release in November, and “Part 2″ will debut sometime next year.
