Abby Lee Miller, known for her harsh style on Dance Moms, faced some pointed remarks as well from pros on ‘Dancing With the Stars.’

Abby Lee Miller, the controversial, tough-as-nails star of “Dance Moms” sat in as a guest judge on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” last night and some of the pro dancers were just as sharp with her harsh, critical teaching style.

“I’m afraid for kids who are exposed to pressure, anxiety, whatever you want to call it,” pro dancer Derek Hough told OK magazine after the show.

“My fear is that they can burn out and they won’t want to dance anymore,” he said.

Sharna Burgess was equally concerned about her teaching style.

“I cannot endorse what she does,” she flatly told the magazine.

“The thing is, what she’s doing to those kids now is going to affect them for the rest of their lives,” she added.

“As a child you need your creativity harnessed. You need to learn about it and discover it yourself. You need someone who is going to help you do that, not try to put you down every time you try something new.”

TheImproper reported exclusively in February that Miller and Disney/ABC Television Group, which airs the show on the Lifetime Network were under fire from parents and dance studio owners to cancel the show.

The show exploded in its ugliest incident to date the same month when Miller got into a physical altercation with former dance mom cast member Kelly Hyland.

Hyland and her two children were kicked off the show after a shouting match led to blows. Hyland was shown slapping Miller, although she says she was just warding off the aggressive dance instructor. She’s since sue Miller and the show.

Miller joined judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli and ABC got it’s hoped for sparks when Abby delivered some very tough criticism.

Pro dancer Maks Chmerkovskiy summed up his feelings when he was asked about Abby’s comments on his performance with celeb partner Meryl Davis.

“I don’t care what she thinks,” he snapped.
