Hugh Jackman has dodged skin cancer for a second time.

Hugh Jackman has had another threatening brush with skin cancer, less than six months after he developed similar lesions on his nose. The cancer was surgically removed and he is clear of the disease, he said.

Jackman, 45, posted a photo on Instagram showing a bandage across his nose. “Another Basel Cell Carcinoma. All out now,” he wrote in the caption.

“Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!” he added.

Last November, the “X-Men” star revealed his first bout with skin cancer in the same location. His wife, Australian actress, director and producer Deborra-Lee Furness, urged him to visit a doctor.

Hugh posted a similar photo on Instagram and wrote: “Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had a [basal] cell carcinoma. Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!”

About 2.8 million cases are diagnosed each year around the country, according to Celebrity Health & Fitness, which tracks celebrity health issues.

It’s the most common form of all cancers. For more information switch over to Celebrity Health & Fitness and be sure to follow TheImproper on Twitter for the latest celebrity news.
