Robert Pattinson has a penchant for telling little white lies about himself. Finally, Jimmy Kimmel asked outright about his reputation for melodrama at a moment’s notice.

Kimmel specifically had in mind the latest Rob rumor that he owned 1,000 suits.

“I never know with you because you told me the last time you were here that you make up a lot of lies for no reason,” he said.

“It’s panic… panic,” Rob replied.

“It’s sometimes… Rob started to continue, before bursting out in laugher. “This goes down the rabbit hole of things I can’t get out,” he tried to explain.

Then he added: For some reason, it seems, I have extraordinarily heavy saliva,” laughing again.

Rob is making the rounds in Los Angeles to promote his new movie “The Rover.” It premiered Thursday night (June 12).
