Claire Danes Cleans Up CIA Snafu in New 'Homeland' Tailer (watch) 9

Claire Danes looks sexy, cool in a new photo spread for the UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar. She’ll star in her fourth season of Homeland in October.

Claire Danes, a hot-to-trot CIA agent in Showtime series “Homeland” learns in a new trailer what government bureaucrats mean by the term Snafu–situation normal all fu*ked up.

Danes’ character Carrie Mathison is called into the office when a U.S. drone strike in Pakistan goes awry.

Instead of taking out a terrorist leader, the drone missile strikes a school, killing mostly children. It’s a public relations nightmare for the CIA and Mathison suspects a set up.

She travels to Pakistan to get to the bottom of the double-cross herself. But she learns that bureaucratic bungling may be just as big a culprit.

Meanwhile, Carrie is conflicted because her overseas assignment will take her away from her infant child and she struggles within herself.

Carrie and Saul are also back in action together, again.

Danes revealed she faces her own struggles to balance her career with her marriage and toddler son Cyrus, in a new interview with the UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar.

She married actor Hugh Dancy in 2009, and says have a child has presented new challenges. “Being a mom is incredibly challenging, but we still feel a pressure to talk about it in very romantic terms,” she says.

“We all have that resentment at times and anxiety about being trapped by the role, that responsibility.”

Showtime will air a double episode on the premiere of the show’s fourth season Sunday, Oct. 5, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
