Kim Kardashian was totally game when she was photographed in a full-frontal nude pose in the upcoming issue of Paper magazine, says its editor, Mickey Boardman. How much was she Photoshopped? Well that, he isn’t exactly saying.

Boardman told Yahoo News that Kim was largely calling the shots in the photo shoot by renowned photographer Jean-Paul Goude.

“Kim’s attitude was, ‘If we’re gonna do it, let’s do it, let’s really go there.'” he explained.

“And it was her idea to take off her clothes and show more than her butt,” he adds.

“But we didn’t say ‘let’s do a cover with your butt hanging out.’ She said she was willing to take her clothes off, and one thing led to another, and history [was] in the making.”

Kim’s photos, which show her posing nude from behind, in front and in profile, were shocking in more ways than one.

Her rear end, which she’s famous for, seemed greatly exaggerated as was the slimness of her waist and arms. TheImproper compared the photos with real life shots of Kim and they seemed distorted to the point of self parody.

Scores of Internet memes have gone viral based on the photos.

A number of outlets including Celebrity Health & Fitness have pointed out obvious digital alterations in her physique.

Meanwhile, USAToday quoted plastic surgeons who said by examining the photos that Kim has had work done — something she has always denied.

But Boardman insisted that Kim was digitally touched up no more than a normal cover model.

“Was there a lot of ‘retouching’ in terms of what this cover was?” asked Yahoo style editor Joe Zee.

“Much less [retouching] than people think,” he answered. “That’s really what she looks like.”

But you’ve seen her, she has a teeny little waist, she has that huge butt, and skinny little legs. That’s her. I would say it’s the normal amount of retouching that’s on a normal cover,” he added.

Whatever the case, the photos seemed to have the intended effect. They’ve touched off a storm on the Internet, although it hasn’t been broken as the magazine had hoped.
