Robert Pattinson’s days in Los Angeles may be numbered. The “Twilight” star has been spending time in New York City lately and devoting part of his day scoping out residential real estate in trendy Manhattan neighborhoods.

Rob has talked recently about leaving the Hollywood scene and splitting his time between London and New York City.

His new girlfriend, UK singer and performance artist, FKA Twigs is said to favor London, but New York City is just a short hop across the pond compared with Los Angeles.

In his latest foray, Pattinson reportedly looked over a posh $20 million, luxury penthouse at 200 11th Ave, considered the “epicenter” of the West Chelsea Arts District. The Gagosian Gallery is across the street, according to the listing.

The 3,598-square-foot penthouse unit, massive by Manhattan standards, has just been put back on the market for $20 million.

That’s a nice break from its previous price, $23 million. That new price works out to $5,555 a square foot, which is still pricey even by Manhattan standards.

But what a building. First and foremost it’s paparazzi proof, according to The New York Post. Nicole Kidman reportedly has a unit in the building.

The building is known as the “Sky Garage,” because residents can access their apartments in their cars. A special elevator takes them directly to their personal parking pads on their floors.

The newly renovated unit has never been lived in and has wall-to-wall windows that look out on the Hudson River Park’s Chelsea Cove, the Highline Park and the city.

With three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and Brazilian teak floors throughout, this is no ordinary apartment. During the 18-month renovation, leading Dutch firm, MVRDV, added a so-called “Sky Vault.”

It’s a sunken bedroom chamber accessible by a staircase at the center of the living area that’s covered by retractable glass. according to the listing.

Pattinson reportedly drove to the building in an SUV, and was spotted by two fans who chase him into the building, according to the tabloid.

No word if he plans to drop the $20 million. Leonard Steinberg of Urban Compass and Ryan Serhant of Nest Seekers are the listing brokers.
