She garnered international attention last week after she criticized designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for their comments about gay parents.
She had a right to take it personally. Her mother, an IT analyst, is a lesbian and her father, a marine biologist, is gay. The came together solely to have a baby.
“I am a child born of love and nothing else.#IAmNotSynthetic #IVF.” Skriver, who calls herself a “rainbow baby,” tweeted.
She’s been active in the LGBT community, working with other children of gay parents.

Skriver, who turns 22 next month, made her first appearance during New York Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2011 season, walking for designers like Calvin Klein and Rag & Bone.
At 5-feet, 11-inches tall, she was a runway standout.
She went on to Milan and Paris shows and scored runway gigs for Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino among others.
In 2013, Skriver debuted in Victoria’s Secret’s annual televised fashion show and has been steadily building a portfolio with the brand.
With Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes leaving the group of eight models who make up Victoria’s Secret’s elite Angels, Skriver seems like an odds-on favorite to fill one of the slots.
