Miley said as almost an afterthought in an interview yesterday on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that she dabbled in bi-sexuality and sees herself as “not tied to a gender or an age.”
“I feel, you know, like an infinite, cosmic thing! And that’s what I want people to feel,” she said.

Jane Lynch: Lynch, 53, best known for her role on the hit show “Glee,” has been openly gay since 2005.
Kelly McGillis:McGillis, 56, was a bombshell opposite Tom Cruise in their movie Top Gun. She came out in 2009.
Her comments were treated in typical tabloid fashion–like shocking news. But to those who know her, or have followed her career, her comments came as no big surprise.
Actress Evan Rachel Wood, who is openly bisexual, caused an uproar in August 2012 by joking on Twitter that the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer might be “gay.”
“I called it! Miley Cyrus is leaning toward gay,” Wood wrote, causing a backlash among her then-large, Christian teen fan base.
But her gaydar was spot on.
Although Miley has dated dated several hunks like Liam Hemsworth an more recently Patrick Schwarzenegger, she’s been dropping hints about her sexuality since at least 2010, although she was always coy, if not in outright denial about it.
In December 2010, Miley was pictured in several racy photos with her assistant. In one, she was tugging on Miley’s skimpy black top trying to put a lip-lock on her right breast.
Miley cause her own uproar in June when she kissed one of her female dancers during a performance on the “Britain’s Got Talent” television show.
She denied kissing her, claiming she stopped short. But the kiss was captured on video. She also kissed a female dancer during a show in Spain in a move that was also caught on video.
“During my performance I supposedly ‘KISSED A GIRL’ and this is the newest thing to cause controversy,” she wrote on her blog at the time.
“I promise you I did not kiss her, and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can’t even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story,” she added.
But afterward during the Rock in Rio festival in Madrid, Spain, Miley performed her song, “Fly on the Wall,” and changed key lyrics.
Instead of singing “those other guys I’m flirting with” she sang “those other girls I’m flirting with.”
In January 2011, Cyrus and “Hannah Montana” co-star Emily Osment engaged in racy girl-on-girl antics in a series of private photos that went viral on Internet.
Miley and Emily shared tongues and giggles in one photo and Miley attempted to plant a big kiss on Emily in the other.
Miley says she always feels “free” when she’s in Europe.
“I just feel like when I go to Europe, I feel very free with my fan base,” she said in a new interview. As for London, it’s her fave “because I have never seen more gay people in my whole life.”
A more open and accepting climate in Hollywood makes it possible for celebrities to come out unlike any previous time in film history.
Give Miley credit for being more honest about something everyone knew years ago. But it’s certainly no scandal.
