Bruce Jenner confirmed plans to have complete gender reassignment surgery in his quest to become a woman, raising concern about whether his penis will be relegated to the dust bin of history. But it doesn’t have to be that way. It has a home waiting in… Iceland.

The Nordic country may be the only place in the world that has a museum dedicated to penises from every species that, well, has one.

Sigurður “Siggi” Hjartarson is the curator. Last year, a new film documentary screened in New York City, about his quest to obtain a human “specimen” (you got that right) to round out his collection.

He may have found one, but having Bruce’s would give the museum the kind of international recognition it can only dream about right now.

The Icelandic Phallogical Museum is located in Husavik, Iceland, a small village on the edge of the Arctic Circle that understandably doesn’t get much walk-in traffic.

But it’s unquestionably the Metropolitan Museum of Art of male mammal genitalia. He has members, so to speak, from field mice to the colossal sperm whale, which as you may have guessed, is colossal. He has 250 specimens in all, except for one.

When we checked in with the museum last April, during the screening, Hjartarson had two potential donors lined up. But the quest wasn’t as simple as preparing a specimen jar. Apparently, laws, permits, paperwork, that sort of thing, were standing in the way.

Bruce’s contribution, however, would undoubtedly be received with delight, no matter how many penises Hjartarson has on the shelf.

Two filmmakers, Jonah Bekhor and Zach Math follow “Siggi” on his quest to find a human piggie for his collection. It was by all accounts an emotional journey. The collector hopes his efforts will aid scientific studies of what? Reproduction?

He may also ultimately be able to answer the question of whether bigger is really better. Bruce could go a long way in securing the museum’s future by providing something that will guarantee a steady stream of visitors for years to come.

Who knows? It could possibly get its own reality show.

Check out the video below and lets hope Bruce gives it some serious thought. You can let us know your thoughts, too. And, be sure to follow IM on Twitter for the latest celebrity news.
