Kristen Stewart Award-Winning Movie ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’ Heads to DVD

Kristen Stewart plays a personal assistant who becomes caught up in a love triangle in Clouds of Sils Maria.

Kristen Stewart award-winning movie “Clouds of Sils Maria” will be released on DVD and Digital HD a month from now, giving fans a chance to see her in one of the best roles of her career opposite Juliette Binoche and Chloë Grace Moretz.

The release, slated for July 14, was announced today by Paramount Home Media Distribution.

The DVD is formatted in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs.

The movie played a limited release in the United States in April, riding a wave of rave reviews. Stewart received critical praise for her role. The New York Times called it an “intricately layered performance.”

“Ms. Stewart easily holds both her own and the screen alongside Ms. Binoche, delivering the kind of emotionally translucent performance that first got her noticed as the girl with the guitar in “Into the Wild,” wrote Manohla Dargis in The New York Times, lauding the movie.

Stewart became the first American woman to win a French César Award, the equivalent of an Oscar, for Best Supporting Actress.

She has three films “Anesthesia,” “American Ultra” and “Equals” slated for release sometime this year.
