Caitlyn, of course, was previously known as Bruce Jenner, the 1976 Olympic Champion and father of six children, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Her 23-year marriage to Kris Jenner, the mother of the famous Kardashian sisters, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian ended last December.
Caitlyn’s transgender was long rumored and she finally came out in a cover story in the June issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
The one-minute video is a follow up to a promo that was released June 3 in conjunction with the release of the magazine. It featured Caitlyn putting on her makeup and going for a drive “out into the world.”
The latest clip is more of a mood piece that shows Caitlyn in a series of dreamy poses while she raises the tough questions.
Why did I decided to do a series? I’m telling my story. People don’t understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right. This is about getting to be who you really are.”
The clip is also all about experiencing things for the first time as a woman.
“We’re gonna do a lot of fun things for the first time. We’re gonna go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle, because girls do that, too.”
The clip is meant to tug at the heart strings and portray Caitlyn in a sympathetic way enjoying everyday girl things.
She’s shown doing her hair, kvetching with girlfriends, and getting a big hug from Kylie. Awe….
It’s still hard not to see Bruce in Caitlyn, but she’s getting there. “I Am Cait” premieres on July 26.
