Scott suffered another blow in his estrangement from the Kardashian sister after a source told People that Kourtney is refusing to share custody of their three children.
“She thinks he is a drunk mess and not fit to be a parent without supervision,” a so-called “source” told the usually reliable tabloid.
Scott and Kourtney hit a rough patch over the summer when he was photographed kanoodling with Kardashian stylist Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo. He was supposed to be on an all-boys trip.
They’ve gone through similar bust-ups before in their nine-year relationship, but always managed to smooth over their differences. Despite a life of luxury on the Kardashian dime, Scott suffered constant emasculation and often turned to carousing to assert his masculinity.
Since the most recent break-up in July, Scott has partied almost non-stop and conducted a high-profile romance with 18-year-old model, Lindsay Vrckovnik. At the same time, Scott has vacillated and expressed remorse over the breakup.
The messy split, of course, has provided ample fodder for the family reality TV show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Scott has not been portrayed favorably.
Lamar also was incensed at the way he was portrayed on the show’s latest episode over the weekend, according to gossip site TMZ. Some of the brothel women say he became irate, complained angrily and stayed in a funk until he was found unconscious.
New reports say hospital doctors have found traces of cocaine and opiates in his blood stream as well as track marks on his arms.
NBA basketball player Kris Humphries, who married Kim Kardashian in 2011, also complained bitterly that he was portrayed negatively on the show after Kim walked out on the marriage.
Scott, 32, is reportedly self-medicating his depression with a cocktail of prescription medication, cocaine and alcohol, according to UsWeekly.
“He does a lot of coke,” and downs an “insane” amount of alcohol, the US source said.
It’s unknown at the moment how Lamar’s overdose is weighing on Scott.
As always, it’s also hard to tell what’s reality and what’s contrived for the show. But Lamar’s condition suggests that constant public exposure and the show’s alleged manipulations can be toxic.
