Lamar Odom has appeared to move past the point of no return. With the chances of recovery deteriorating, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar’s extended family will have to make a touch choice in the next few days whether to remove life support.

Odom was found unconscious in his VIP suite at the infamous Love Ranch South in Crystal, Nevada on Oct. 13.

He was rushed to the hospital, but it’s not known how long he went without oxygen. He’s been on life support in a coma since his arrival and his vital signs have continued to deteriorate.

According to the latest reports, he’s showing signs of liver and kidney failure, without any signs of improvement. If the situation continues, he’s chances of recovery grow slimmer and slimmer.

Doctors who are treating him say he still has a 50/50 chance of pulling through, according to gossip site TMZ. Medical sources tell IM that’s a best case scenario.

Even if he does regain consciousness, Lamar will faces weeks, if not months, of physical rehabilitation and will likely have diminished mental capacity. He will also likely have to undergo dialysis for the rest of his life, according to medical references.

As of yesterday, Lamar has been “entirely unresponsive” and can not breathe on his own, TMZ reported. Doctors also reportedly believe his brain function is significantly reduced.

The Kardashian family has been keeping a vigil in Las Vegas, as well as Lamar’s first wife and two children. His father is also present. Khloe and Lamar are still technically married, so she will have final say as to the course of his treatment.

Odom split from Khloe in 2013. Their divorce was finalized in July, although a judge has yet to sign off on the split.

The former Los Angeles Laker showed up at the brothel on Saturday (Oct. 9), according to owner Dennis Hof. He reportedly spent time with several women and was known to be taking an herbal substitute for Viagra as well as cocaine and other opiates.
