Carly Fiornia, the only woman vying for the GOP presidential nomination, lambasted the “liberal media” for trying to demonize a Colorado loner who murdered three people at a Planned Parenthood Clinic. She called him a “protester” not a domestic terrorist.

“This is so typical of the left to immediately begin demonizing a messenger because they don’t agree with the message,” she said on Fox News Sunday.

“The vast majority of Americans agree what Planned Parenthood is doing is wrong,” she added.

Planned Parenthood has been an albatross around Florina’s neck ever since she invested heavily into allegations that the organization was illegally selling fetal remains.

The allegations were contained in videos created by Center for Medical Progress, a conservative anti-abortion group. The claims were quickly discredited after it was determined the videos had been selectively edited.

Instead of distancing herself from, or even repudiating, the claims, Fiornia has doubled down on them to the point of Sunday’s absurdity.

She called the murders a “tragedy,” and the shooter Robert Dear, 57, “deranged.” But then she equated him to “Black Lives Matter” and pro-life protesters.

But Dear, from all appearances is anything but. He’s a Halloween costume.

He’s a reclusive loner who may well be deranged and suffering from delusions. Since his arrest he’s muttered religious mumbo-jumbo about the “End of Days,” being near.

He also said he was motivated by the discredited “baby parts” video that Fiorna has been championing.

“No more baby parts,” he reportedly uttered after his arrest, according to news reports.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood President Vicki Cowart said the organization has become the target of “hateful rhetoric,” and “smear campaigns.”

“That environment breeds acts of violence,” said Cowart.

She added in a prepared statement:

We are learning that eyewitnesses confirm that the man who will be charged with the tragic and senseless shooting that resulted in the deaths of three people and injures to nine others at Planned Parenthood’s health center in Colorado Springs was motivated by opposition to safe and legal abortion. This is an appalling act of violence targeting access to health care and terrorizing skilled and dedicated health care professionals.”

“To which Fiorina replied that the media was “demonizing the messenger.”

But even former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee, a staunch anti-abortionist, called Dear a “terrorist.”

It’s clear that Fiorina is engaging in the worst form of right-wing agitprop. It may win her points with Fox News viewers, but it won’t get her elected.
