Selena Gomez and UFC ex-champion Rhonda Rousey exercised some sexy girl power in new promos for this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Selena is the musical guest, Rousey will host, but please don’t call her a “knockout.”

Ouch! Rousey, who held the UFC women’s Bantamweight title, got caught up in her own hype.

Media outlets pronounced her all but invincible after she won 11 straight fights, making her a celebrity.

But Australian Holly Holm brought Rousey back to earth with a devastating kick in the third round. It knocked her out and broke her jaw. Rousy dropped out of sight for weeks and only recently emerged, vowing to fight again.

So her “SNL” gig is a coming out party of sorts. She looked none the worse for wear. She still has that million dollar smile.

Gomez will sing three songs off her new album, so she has some heavy lifting to do as well.

Both Rousey and Gomez are making their first appearance on the sketch comedy show and it showed. Fortunately cast member Cecily Strong joined them to keep things moving.

In their first spoof, they touted the strength of their girl power. “Three strong, independent women on the stage together,” says Strong, before the girls break out in giggles.

“Yeah, it feels so good!” Selena chimes in before Strong throws them a curve. “Hey, you guys wanna call boys?!” she says.

Hell yeah they do. The whip out cell phones, but Strong blurts out “Dad?” Ewwwww!

Selena will reportedly sing her latest song, “Hands to Myself.” Although, if it’s anything like the video, it may not make the air.

Rousey recently said she dreams about a sleep over with Jennifer Lawrence. Gomez, on the other hand, got randy with model Cara Delevingne on vacation two summers ago.

So, it’s hard to tell where this show will go.
