Kristen Stewart is Karl Lagerfeld’s muse again in a new Chanel campaign that will feature her–actually her eyes–in advertisements promoting a line of cosmetics. She’ll represent “various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman.”
The 2016 “Collection Eyes” campaign will launch in March. Today (Feb. 2), Chanel released a teaser photo.
Stewart was spotted at Chanel’s headquarters in Paris last month after jetting out of Los Angeles. An elegant bathtub was close behind, suggesting she was about to embark on a new photo shoot wearing little or nothing.
The teaser photo released today may be the first product of that photo session. Famed fashion photographer Mario Testino shot Stewart for the campaign, according to the company.
The photo zeroes in on her eye, tousled hair and bare arms and shoulders. And, she appears to be naked.
Kristen, 25, is also the face of Chanel’s Métiers d’art 2015/2016 campaign. She began repping for the brand in 2013.
Lagerfeld, literally plucked her from the ashes of her cheating scandal with “Snow White and the Huntsman” Director Rupert Sanders and made her a fashion icon.
In her latest campaign for the brand, released in December, Stewart played Coco Chanel, the legendary French designer. Chanel was known for her tempestuous love affairs and boiling-hot temper.
The short film, written and directed by Lagerfeld, was actually about the making of a film about Chanel.
