Glee's Jane Lynch on SNL: I Like Being Scared! (preview!) 1Jane Lynch, best known to many as scheming coach Sue Sylvester on Fox’s hit show “Glee,” will be even better known as herself after starring this weekend on Saturday Night Live.

The 50-year-old actress is convinced the writers will do a great job parodying her tough Sue Sylvester role.

“I think they’re going to be careful. I’ve never seen them do anything where they’ve hit the nail on the head and it’s not interesting, so I hope it’ll work out well,” she said.

“It was great news, and like any milestone in my life, it excited me but also scared me. But I’ll do it! I like being scared, actually. It pulls the best out of you.”

In the video promoting the show, Lynch and SNL regular Fred Armisen practice several different introductions for her hosting spot.

In every one they get it wrong somehow,  and Armisen ends up with egg on his face — heeee.

Lynch says she is a huge fan of the show.

“I’m very familiar with it. I know there are some new members, but it’s a great cast and I’m a fan of a lot of them, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen and so on.

“I’m sad that Will Forte has left, because I think he’s amazing and I would have loved to work with him, but it’s a great group.”
