Kim Kardashian is still grinding an ax over Taylor Swift’s run-in with husband Kanye West, over West’s inflammatory “Life of Pablo” lyric: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous.” He didn’t, and she scolded him for it in public.

Swift, 26, called West on the carpet at the Grammy Awards in February, one day after his album was released. That later patched things up.

But Kim apparently couldn’t resist opening old wounds in her new GQ magazine interview.

She insinuated that Swift lied about her role in the song. “She totally approved that, Kardashian, 35, told the magazine. Swift, she added, “gave her blessing.”

Taylor Swift’s Latest Life of Pablo Statement
Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place. It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that bitch’ in referencing her.
A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”

“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,” Kim said.

The “Bad Blood” singer went easy on the reality star, claiming in a new statement today. She said Kim was likely only repeating what West had told her.

“However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect,” she said in the statement.

The rapper claimed he called Swift to discuss the lyric and she approved it. The line referenced their 2009 dust-up at the MTV Video Music Awards.

You may recall, West rushed on stage, grabbed the Video of the Year Award from her hands and declared that Beyonce should have won. The incident went viral. Swift said she was devastated.

Afterward, she said she eventually reached a point of “mutual respect” with West. But that was before the album came out. Swift addressed the incident at this years Grammy Awards in February.

“I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments, or your fame,” she said during her acceptance speech after 1989 won Album of the Year.

“But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you someday when you get where you are going you will know it was you and the people who love you that put you there,” she added.

It was an emotional moment for the singer, only the second female artist to win Album of The Year twice. But it was utter humiliation for West.

Of course, all of that played out months ago, tantamount to eons in the celebrity news cycle. But Kim couldn’t let it go.

“I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things… he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved,” Kardashian added. “What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”

Kim claims West was filmed talking to Swift on the telephone. But, knowing how the Kardashians fake scenes for their reality television show, who can believe that?

If she’s got the video, then she should release it. But it won’t answer the question Swift raises.

“Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone,” she said through her lawyers.
