Muscle-bound Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino had a few choice words for judges after he was unceremoniously booted from Dancing with the Stars last night (Oct. 12) following his so-so tango with pro dancer Karina Smirnoff. The “situation” puts Bristol Palin on the bubble.
The hulking “Jersey Shore” reality personality was later spotted sulking in the parking lot, cigarette in hand and shaking his head with a friend.
“I really didn’t think it was fair,” Sorrentino contended during the program.
“I don’t know what their deal was. I really don’t know,” he later told Us magazine. “I was upset. I actually stormed off upset because I tried so hard. I really did. I changed my haircut; I don’t know.”
Sorrentino, 29, and Smirnoff received a lowly 28 from the judges, the lowest score in Monday’s dance off.
Judge Bruno Tonioli had called his tango “a terrible mess” and the usually more lenient Carrie Ann Inaba said it was a “rough ride.”
“I really did try my best, and hopefully the viewers saw that. I really put in the work and practiced, and I hope they put us through to the next week because I tried so hard,” Sorrentino added.
Palin and her partner, Mark Ballas, along with ex-NFL star Kurt Warner and his partner, Anna Trebunskaya are no in jeopardy with the next lowest scores.
Mom Sarah Palin showed up again for more free air time, while Palin danced the rumba.
But the judges said she lacked sexiness and intensity. Could it be because her mother was sitting in the audience, again?
Palin, an unwed teen mother, said she felt conflicted “going around talking about abstinence,” and then performing a “sexy” dance.
The top three scorers: Brandy, Audrina Patridge and Jennifer Grey were deemed safe.
