Jared Leto is shirtless and smoking-hot on the cover of Rolling Stone, where he looks as ripped and boyishly handsome as ever.

Despite being 44, Jared barely looks a day over 34, thanks to diet and exercise.

Leto’s anti-aging fitness secrets are a mostly vegan diet and yoga workouts, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.

Jared also makes sure he gets enough sleep and doesn’t drink alcohol or do drugs (despite having dabbled in drugs earlier in his life).

“Twenty solid years of eating vegetarian/vegan and taking care of myself,” said Leto. “It’s probably just down to sleep and diet.”

The age-defying health benefits of a vegan diet are no surprise to Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center.

“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature — predominantly plants — is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.

Dr. Neal Barnard, president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, agrees.

“Studies suggest that free radicals [toxic molecules that form in the body] contribute to aging,” Dr. Barnard wrote in his bestseller, 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart.

“A vegan diet rich in fruits and vegetables is full of antioxidants which help protect the body from damage by free radicals.”

Other celebrity vegans include country singer Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Lopez, who lost 10 pounds on a vegan diet, as TheImproper has reported.

For exercise, Jared Leto does yoga workouts, hikes, and cycles. Yoga promotes anti-aging health by reducing stress, building lean muscles, and fueling natural weight loss, said Christina Brown, author of the Yoga Bible.

Jared, the frontman for the band Thirty Seconds To Mars, fasted for a month to play a transsexual woman battling AIDs in the film “Dallas Buyers Club.”

The 5-foot-9 Leto starved himself down to a scrawny 116 pounds, and won an Academy Award for best supporting actor in 2014.

Jared Leto currently plays the Joker in the superhero movie “Suicide Squad.”
