Mama June Shannon discussed her 150-pound weight loss and plastic surgery wishes on the reality TV show Botched (see video).

On the season 3 finale, Mama June told plastic surgeons Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif she wants to remove the loose, sagging skin on her stomach that resulted from her recent 150-pound weight loss and four C-section surgeries.

“I want the skin definitely removed,” said Shannon, the mom of reality TV star Honey Boo Boo. “I hate it.”

Dr. Dubrow said the condition is called “abdominal pannus, which basically means a drape.”

Drs. Dubrow and Nassif told Mama June her unhealthy BMI (body mass index) right now makes plastic surgery too risky.

However, if Shannon loses an additional 75 pounds, they would be able to remove her sagging skin without complications.

“BMI is the way we doctors figure out who’s an appropriate candidate for surgery and who should lose some more weight,” said Dr. Dubrow. “At 5-foot-6 and 245 pounds, your BMI is 39.

“We like to see a BMI of like 28. So you lose 75 pounds, you come back to us, we’ll remove that and make you happy. Good deal?”

Mama June was happy after her consultation, and is now determined to lose more weight so she can qualify for the skin removal surgery.

“Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow gave me a lot of good information and hopefully in a couple months I’ll be back and say, ‘OK, we’re gonna do surgery now,'” said Shannon. “This will be my reward for everything that I’ve done.”

This means Mama June will make another appearance on Botched in the coming months.

Mama June looks great after losing 150 pounds during the past year. Shannon, who started out at a size 28, slimmed down to a size 16.

Shannon’s weight loss secret was a low-carb diet, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.

Shannon, a former couch potato, also started exercising regularly, walking 3 miles a day either outdoors or on the treadmill.

Mama June, a former junk food addict, ate smaller portions and limited carb intake, and feels much better physically and emotionally.
