Robert Pattinson has received the ultimate compliment; he’s getting a send up in the new Halloween episode of the “Simpsons.” Homer and the gang discover vampires in Springfield.

But in a twist, Daniel Radcliffe, of Harry Potter fame will voice the vampire, according to the show.

The British actor makes a cameo appearance in an upcoming broadcast of the hit cartoon comedy in a plot which pokes fun at the vampire saga, which has swept the world and made international stars out of Rob, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and other castmates. .

The Simpsons’ annual Halloween “Treehouse of Horror” show has Radcliffe playing a mysterious youngster called Edmund, a take off on Pattinson’s Edward in the “Twilight” movies.

Edmund falls in love with Lisa but he can’t restrain himself and bites Homer.

But in another twist, Edumund becomes ill because Homer’s blood is larded with enough cholesterol to stop a clock.

The vignette also throws Dracula into the mix and has Homer trying to ward off Edmund with a cross.

The episode will air as part of the Simpson’s Halloween special Oct. 31. Check out these screen shots from the show.
