HLN cancelled “Dr. Drew,” the TV show hosted since 2011 by Dr. Drew Pinsky, just one week after the physician questioned Hillary Clinton‘s health.
HLN — a sister network of the pro-Hillary CNN, which some have dubbed the Clinton News Network — said the last episode of “Dr. Drew” airs Sept. 22.
In a statement, CNN executive vice president Ken Jautz called the cancellation a “mutual” decision.
“Dr. Drew and I have mutually agreed to air the final episode of his show on September 22,” said Jautz.
“Dr. Drew has been an authoritative voice on addiction and on many other topical issues facing America today.”
Pinsky has kept a low profile since being catapulted into the headlines after he expressed “grave” concerns over Hillary Clinton’s health and medical care, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.
Dr. Pinsky, a board-certified internist, said Clinton may have suffered brain damage after her 2012 concussion, as evidenced by her use of prism glasses at the time.
Prism glasses are usually worn to correct double vision after head trauma, like the one Hillary suffered when she fell and hit her head in 2012.
“[The use of prism glasses suggest] brain damage,” Dr. Drew said Aug. 17 on KABC’s “McIntyre in the Morning” show (audio below). “That’s profound.”
Interestingly, the interview was pulled off the KABC website just hours after Pinsky’s comments — which have been echoed by other physicians — went viral.
Dr. Pinsky and a physician colleague were shocked by the outdated treatment Hillary has been receiving for her lingering health problems, which include hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), deep vein thrombosis and blood clots.
“Based on the information she and her doctors provided, we were gravely concerned not just about her health, but her health care,” said Dr. Drew, who is not a Donald Trump supporter. “She’s receiving 1950s-level care.”
Hillary is taking a prescription thyroid hormone drug called Armour Thyroid, which is made from the dried thyroid glands of pigs.
Dr. Drew Pinsky, author of When Painkillers Become Dangerous, found this drug treatment shocking because it’s not a standard of care modern physicians use.
“She’s been treated for hypothyroidism with something called Armour Thyroid, which is very unconventional and something we used back in the 1960s,” said Dr. Drew. “Armour Thyroid sometimes has some weird side effects.”
Symptoms of hypothyroidism include chronic fatigue, lethargy, and depression.
Meanwhile, Clinton’s chronic reliance on stools during her brief rallies have stoked more speculation about Hillary’s health.
Photos of the 68-year-old grandmother constantly sitting on stools have popped up all over social media after the hashtag #HillarysStools went viral on Twitter
It’s unclear why Hillary Clinton is constantly sitting, since she suffers from deep vein thrombosis, according to her doctor, Dr. Lisa Bardack.
Too much sitting has been linked to early death, and exacerbates deep vein thrombosis, a serious condition that occurs when a blood clot forms in a vein.
Hillary has suffered three blood clots in recent years: A blood clot in her brain in 2013, and two in her leg: in 2000 and 1998, as TheImproper has reported.
Biographer Ed Klein, former editor-in-chief of the New York Times Magazine, said Hillary suffers from exhaustion, insomnia, depression, hand tremors and blinding headaches.
Insiders told Klein that Clinton is terrified of getting another blood clot.
“There were incidents on the campaign trail when she felt faint and nearly swooned,” Klein wrote in his 2015 book, Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary. “Those incidents were kept secret.”
Repeated bouts of insomnia have “sapped her energy,” a source told Klein, a former editor at Newsweek. “She is exhausted and depressed a lot of the time.”
Ed Klein’s extensive research also indicates Hillary Clinton is temperamentally unfit to be president because she’s a pathological liar, as evidenced by her e-mail scandals, Benghazi fallout and pay-to-play Clinton Foundation controversy.
“Some observers compare Hillary to Lady Macbeth, whose vaulting ambition led to her downfall,” Klein wrote in his forthcoming book, Guilty as Sin. “She lies even when she doesn’t have to.”
