Selena Gomez is taking a break from her Revival World Tour to get treated for depression, anxiety and panic attacks stemming from lupus.

Selena, who was diagnosed with lupus in 2012, took time off from work in 2013 to get chemotherapy for the autoimmune disease, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.

This time, Gomez said she needs a break to heal after suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and depression, ET reported (see video).

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena revealed in a statement.

“I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

Gomez did not reveal if she’s canceling her tour (the next performance date is Sept. 3 in Canada), but said she just needs some time away from everything:

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off,” said Selena. “Thank you to all my fans for your support.

“You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”

It’s unclear what fueled the recent depression and anxiety, but rumors are swirling that it’s related to the Instagram feud she had last week with former boyfriend Justin Bieber.

The brouhaha erupted after Bieber threatened to take his Instagram account private if jealous trolls didn’t stop hating on galpal Sofia Richie, the 18-year-old daughter of legendary singer Lionel Richie.

Selena Gomez, 24, who dated Bieber, 22, from 2010 to 2013, snarkily replied that Justin shouldn’t post photos of his girlfriend if he can’t handle negative feedback, as TheImproper has reported.

“If you can’t handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol,” Gomez wrote on Instagram. “It should be special between you two only.”

Justin clapped back and implied Selena only dated him to get famous, and is now trolling him on social media for more attention.

“It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad,” Bieber wrote. “All love.”

Then Selena shot back: “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”

Justin replied: “Oh, I forgot about you and Zayn [Malik]?”

Selena Gomez apologized shortly afterward on Snapchat, saying: “What I said was selfish and pointless.”

Since then, tabloids claim Selena has tried desperately to get back in touch with Justin, who flatly ignored her.

Selena, who lost more than 10 pounds recently, said being fat-shamed after gaining weight in 2015 inspired her latest album, Revival.

Selena said “Revival” was an anthem for her renewed self-confidence after undergoing chemotherapy for lupus and being brutally fat-shamed for gaining weight.

“I wanted so badly to say, ‘You guys have no idea. I’m in chemotherapy. You’re *ssholes,’” said Gomez. “I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again.”

Lupus is a mysterious autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system attacks normal, healthy tissue. Symptoms include joint pain, facial swelling, fatigue, inflammation and headaches.

The cause of lupus is unknown and there is no cure, but a healthy diet can reduce or reverse symptoms, said Dr. Brooke Goldner, author of Goodbye Lupus.

It’s unclear when Selena will resume her Revival Tour, which kicked off in May 2016 and doesn’t end until December 2016. Gomez is just halfway through the world tour.
