Jimmy Fallon was viciously slammed on Twitter when Donald Trump came off looking good-natured and likeable after Fallon messed up his hair on “The Tonight Show” (see video).

The hilarious skit started after Jimmy asked Trump for a small favor.

“Donald, I want to ask you, because the next time I see you, you could be the president of the United States,” Fallon.

“I just wanted to know if there’s something we could do that’s not presidential now that we’re both civilians.”

Trump cautiously replied: “Like what? I’m not liking the sound of this.”

Jimmy asked: “Can I mess your hair up?”

Trump hesitated at first, but then allowed Fallon to mess his hair up, to raucous cheers and laughter from the live studio audience.

The stunt settled once and for all that Donald Trump’s hair is real, despite longstanding tabloid speculation the billionaire wears a wig.

Not to mention, if he did wear a wig, where’s the shame in that? Trump has a lot of hair for a man who’s 70.

Trump who’s notoriously vain about his hair  came off looking like a good sport. After all, could you picture Hillary Clinton allowing anyone to mess her hair up like that?

Angry Hillary supporters immediately excoriated Jimmy Fallon on Twitter, obviously forgetting that Fallon is a comedian, not a hard-news journalist.

One angry Twitter fan wrote: “Jimmy Fallon: Don’t put Trump on TV and treat him like a buddy and muss his hair. It humanizes a monster. Stop it.”

Another chimed in: “I will never watch Jimmy Fallon again. That’s how strongly I feel about humanizing a monster.”

Of course, these same Hillary supporters didn’t criticize comedian Jimmy Kimmel when he failed to confront Clinton about her e-mail server scandal, Clinton Foundation pay-to-play controversy and Benghazi lies when she appeared on his talk show in August 2016.

In that skit, Hillary tried to refute rumors she was sick by opening a pre-opened jar of pickles (conveniently missing its vacuum seal) on live TV.

Two weeks later, Clinton collapsed at Ground Zero and was thrown into a van like a side of beef by Secret Service officers.
