Padma Lakshmi showcased her supermodel body in sexy lingerie on Instagram, where she reminded fans that moms can be sexy too.

“Don’t hate because I’m in lingerie. Moms do that sometimes,” Lakshmi wrote in the caption to her Instagram photo.

The “Top Chef” beauty showed she has not lost her model figure despite being a busy 46-year-old mom to daughter Krishna (with ex-boyfriend Michael Dell, founder of Dell Computers).

Judging by her fit bikini body, it’s hard to believe Padma is a foodie who has gained and lost the same 15 pounds every year since 2006, when she joined the reality TV show, “Top Chef,” as host.

Shortly after filming wraps each season, Lakshmi follows a vegetarian weight loss diet to slim down.

Padma’s weight loss secrets are a wheat-free, mostly vegetarian diet.

Lakshmi eats everything (including animal proteins) while shooting “Top Chef,” but follows a mostly vegetarian diet when she’s not filming.

Other celebrity vegetarians include supermodel Christie Brinkley, who looks amazing at 62, thanks to a mostly vegan diet and exercise, as TheImproper has reported.

“I made the decision [to become vegetarian at age 13] because I loved animals and didn’t want to be a part of the slaughter industry,” said Brinkley.

“I’ve been reaping the benefits of that karma ever since.”

Like Christie, Padma Lakshmi is a fitness fanatic who typically exercises several days a week for 45 to 120 minutes per session.

Padma, author of the cookbook Tangy Tart Hot and Sweet, boxes, runs on the treadmill and lifts weights to maintain her age-defying bikini body.

Season 14 of “Top Chef” is currently filming. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
