The shows had all the frills and pageantry of previous years, but with some notable exceptions. Top model Heidi Klum bowed out from the show after 13 years and notable models Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr were out on baby duty.
Kerr is expecting her first child with actor Orlando Bloom, while Kroes is married to DJ/producer Sunnery James.
Ambrosio was the queen of the parade but other veterans on the catwalk included Adriana Lima, Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 23, obviously hasn’t given up her day (or is that night?) job modeling, despite landing a starring role in “Transformers 3” with Shia LeBouf. She was back on the runway as usual.
Newcomers to the runway included Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel.
But Andriana Lima was the one entrusted with the family jewels. She showed off Victoria’s Secret’s $2 million bra laced with Diamiani diamonds and sapphires.
The over-the-top lingerie was heavy on bold primary colors, lots of sparkle and surprisingly not as much skin as in previous years.
The lingerie designs seemed to steer away from bare almost all designs to lingerie that left a little more to the imagination. But all the frills, angel wings, peacock tails and even bar bells and boxing gloves were part of the show.
Perry, who wore a yellow, strapless bustier dress covered in pink hearts, and thigh-high boots and a purple bustier that sprouted a bustle. Both were low cut and flashed ample cleavage.
Perry sang “Teenage Dream,” ”Hot N Cold” and “California Gurls,” and a rousing version of Blondie’s “Call Me.” Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry looked on from the audience.
R&B singer Akon sang “Angel” during the show’s “Heavenly Bodies” segment.
The fashion show will be broadcast on CBS on Nov. 30.
