Roy Moore continues his hellfire and brimstone campaign for the U.S. Senate seat in Alabama, refusing to conceded the race even though even Fox News has declared Democrat Doug Jones the winner. Who’s left? Steve Bannon?

Moore was a throwback to the days of Alabama Gov. George C. Wallace, who led a segregationist campaign for President back in the 1960s.

Moore might just have won, but the Bible-toting ex-judge was caught up in a sex scandal involving teen-aged girls.

Five women accused him of sexually assaulting them or pursuing them for dates when he was in his 30s. He was reportedly banned from the local mall for harassing teen girls.

“In this race, we have not received the final count to include military and provisional ballots. This has been a very close race and we are awaiting certification by the secretary of state,” Moore said vowing to “preserve our republic, our civilization and our religion and to set free a suffering humanity.”

Even so, his political epitaph was already being written on late-night television. Stephen Colbert even posted a send-off song as Moore rides into the sunset.
