She should find plenty of interest in her new lifestyle choice. A number of young Hollywood actresses, such as Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne and Amber Heard among others profess to be “gender fluid,” and open to dating men or women.

Four years ago, “lesbian chic” was the hottest trend sweeping Tinseltown.

In the gay community, bisexuals have sometimes been branded as greedy or illegitimate, according to Emily Dievendorf, Director of Policy, Equality Michigan, writing in The HuffingtonPost.

But these days bi-sexuality is becoming more-and-more like a tattoo. Seems like almost everyone has one… or is one.

The 25-year-old singer was in a long-term on-gain, off-again relationship with actor Wilmer Valderrama for almost eight years. They announced their final breakup on social media in June 2016.

Demi says she had a troubled upbringing. Her parents divorced and Lovato said she had no relationship with her abusive father up until the day he died of cancer. She also says she was bullied as a teen.

She’s been in and out of rehab for substance abuse But she has ironed out her life since her widely publicized breakdown in 2010 for addictions, an eating disorder, and self-harm. She was diagnosed bipolar.

These days she’s open to exploring her sexuality.

“I’m very fluid, and I think love is love. You can find it in any gender. I like the freedom of being able to flirt with whoever I want,” she said. “And if she does meet someone she likes, she says she isn’t afraid to make the first move.

She told InStyle magazine:

“I’m normally the first one to make the move. I’m always the one who says, ‘Let me get your number.’ Or I slide into their DMs on Instagram. I’m not suffering because I’m alone. There were many years I was in a relationship and I wasn’t learning about myself. Now I’m learning about what I like, what I need, and what I want.”

After her breakdown, Demi decided to be totally open about her addictions, her mental health problems and self harming to help other young people facing the same problems.

“I grew up in the era of really, really skinny celebrities. That was the look. And it was cool to be seen partying. Drugs were glamorized, and when I was 12 or 13, nobody was talking about mental illness. Nobody was talking about eating disorders. Nobody was talking about cutting. I wanted somebody for my little sister to look up to. I took on that role because I knew it was important.”
