Donald Trump

Donald Trump at least had part of a day to celebrate the Republican Congressional cover-up on Russia. By nightfall, however, he was the fall guy, again, on late night television. Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Myers and Trevor Noah all took him apart.

So much material, so little time. Stormy Daniels, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and Trump himself provided the fodder for a cavalcade of puns, quips and very pointed asides.

“Just when you think there can’t be more presidential porn star news, suddenly there’s a bumper crop,” said Colbert in his opening monologue.

Porn star Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, had a year-long affair with Trump in 2006 and 2007, and apparently she has text messages, photos and videos to prove it. She’s set to go on “60 Minutes” this Sunday (Mar. 18), in what could be a tell-all… and show all.

Although Trump denies the affair, he’s been running around like someone with his dick caught in his zipper. His lawyers are supposedly even considering trying to block the interview.

“Why would Donald Trump be afraid of a show whose logo is a ticking clock slowly ticking down the seconds ’till the time is up?” Colbert questioned.

Then the comedian took a ride on the “Trump Crazy Train” to Pennsylvania. The president’s rally for a Republican Congressional candidate turned into a festival of self love.

“Trump got business out of the way quickly… before turning to the main subject of the night, himself,” said Colbert.

Myers also couldn’t resist piling on.

“Trump gave another unhinged performance at a campaign rally on Saturday and his education secretary followed up the next day by giving a train wreck of an interview on ’60 Minutes.'” said Myers. “Trump’s antics were especially off the rails.”

The president disparaged the usual cast of characters– reporters and women, like Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters. Even Oprah wasn’t immune from his attacks.

“Trump always insults and degrades people at these rallies. But his performance on Saturday was particularly mannequin vulgar,” Myers said.

Trump hit a new low when he called NBC “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd a “son of a bitch.” And, he was so torqued about Obama he kept repeating his name over and over.

“Anytime Trump holds a rally you can tell he’s back in his element,” said “The Daily Show’s” Noah. “Because he will riff about anything that pops in his head.”

Noah zeroed in on this Trump rally comment.

“Melania, a great first lady,” the president said. “You think her life is easy, folks? Not so easy,” Trump told the gathering.

“Who thinks Melania has it easy?” Noah deadpanned. “The number one story in America right now is how her husband had an affair with a porn star, and then forgot to sign his own non-disclosure agreement.”

Kimmel didn’t miss a beat during his monologue. He riffed on Tiger Woods and his “hookerfest,” Bill Cosby and, of course, Trump. Birds of a feather?

“I don’t know if you saw President Trump’s new Netflix comedy special that came out on Saturday, but the president went way off script at a rally in Pittsburgh Saturday night,” he said.

“He was supposed to be promoting a Republican candidate for Congress there, but as is usually the case, he spent most of the time talking about himself. Trump ranted for more than hour over the course of which he covered a variety of subjects.
