Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are back in court fighting over their divorce, even though two years of legal wrangling finally appeared resolved only four months ago. Bitterness and jealousy may be driving the latest fight.

A dispute over child support and how much time Pitt is allowed to spend with the children have reportedly caused the divorce proceedings to spiral out of control.

“She can’t see past her anger for Brad that he is on his way to getting joint custody,” a source told UsWeekly.

IM reported in April that the couple had resolved the final stumbling blocks to their divorce–custody of their kids.

Sources say Jolie, 43, is still steaming, however, because Brad was awarded joint-custody. Angelina wanted full custody with Brad limited to visitation rights.

Although they were together for a decade, they were only married for two years. When they split, Brad wanted to keep their marital home in Los Angeles, which he’s own ever since his marriage to Jennifer Aniston (2000-2005).

As part of the deal, Brad agreed to “loan” Angelina $8 million so she could buy her own house in Los Angeles.

Angelina’s lawyer Samantha Bley DeJean explained the deal this way to People.

“Following the incident of September 2016, Angelina and the children needed to move from the family home, which Brad chose to keep, including all of its contents. Brad was asked to assist in the expense of a new home for Angelina [and their six children] but instead he loaned Angelina money, for which he is charging her interest on a payment plan.”

“Angelina will of course honor that loan. A loan is not, however, child support and to represent it as such is misleading and inaccurate,” the lawyer’s statement said.

Jolie’s court petition claimed that Brad was failing to pay “meaningful” child support. According to their divorce agreement, Brad is supposed to pay 50 percent of all costs relateed to the children, DeJean asserted.

But Brad’s lawyer Lance Spiegel fired back, claiming Pitt has paid $1.3 million since their split “in bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the minor children.”

The money reportedly goes for therapists for the six children, travel expenses and round-the-clock bodyguards, according to Page Six.

In an unusual legal maneuver, Jolie’s filing includes a plea for the judge to “bifurcate” their marriage. The move would allow the marriage to end legally before all outstanding issues are resolved.

The goal “is to provide closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children,” court papers state.

Pitt has reportedly complained that Jolie is making it difficult for him to “stay connected” to the children, according to gossip site TMZ.

Jolie and the children are currently in London, where Jolie is filming her latest movie, “Malificent 2.”

The judge in the case, has reportedly set a schedule to insure the actor can visit his children in London for up to 10 hours a day, four consecutive days at a time, according to the gossip site.

Pitt is also permitted to call and text his children at any time without monitoring by Jolie.

The deal has reportedly incensed Jolie, who is “out for blood.”

The storied Hollywood couple split in Sept. 2016 after a 10-year relationship and six children, Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 9.

Jolie’s net worth has been estimated at $160 million. Brad is estimated to be worth $240 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

It seems petty for both of them to be fighting over money.
