Dr. Evil from the Mike Myers “Austin Powers” movies has emerged from his cave–somewhere in Rhode Island–to make his claim on a seat in Congress in the midterm elections. It’s all about making Donald Trump’s American evil again. Or, is that more evil?
The villain made an appearance on “The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon,” to provide an update on his campaign.
“You’re running for Congress?” said the incredulous talk show host.
“Yes, Jimmy, haven’t you been following the news. It’s 2018, evil is in right now. It’s hip; it’s like playing Fortnight while slamming a Tide pod and doing the shiggy challenge,” he said.
There’s no question on what side of the aisle Dr. Evil will sit. He wants to make Donald Trump Jr. Secretary of the Treasury because “the man is made out of dough.”
“You really think he’s that rich?” asks Fallon.
“No, he actually looks like he’s made out of dough,” Dr. Evil replies. “He’s like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. I just want to poke his belly.”
