Kristen Stewart, who gained international fame as the romantic lead in the blockbuster “Twilight” series, has mostly given up those roles to play characters more in line with her “sexually fluid” persona. Her taste in dating has changed as well.

Stewart, who turns 30 this coming April, has exclusively dated a number of high-profile women since her four-year relationship with “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson ended in 2013.

She recently rekindled her on-again, off-again romance with model Stella Maxwell.

Since 2014, she’s dated personal assistant Alicia Cargile and briefly dated French singer Soko in spring 2016. She hooked up with Cargile again.

It was a busy year in her love life. In fall 2016, she briefly dated musician Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent. Then, she jumped to Maxwell for the first time.

She broke up with the New Zealand model last year, and dated stylist Sara Dinkin until May this year. She jumped back onto Maxwell’s arms the same month.

In a new interview, Stewart says she only dates people who “complement” her. They bring out her best sides and work as the perfect addition to her life.

The 29-year-old actress, who has often been branded as aloof and indifferent, says she actually cares what people think about her, even if she has a reputation as an asshole.

She acknowledges she let down “Twilight” fans because she did not “leap willingly” into the spotlight after she found fame playing Bella Swan. But it has nothing to do with being “rebellious,” she insists.

“I think I’ve grown out of this, but I used to be really frustrated because I didn’t leap willingly into being at the center of a certain amount of attention; that it seemed like I was an asshole,” she says.

“I am in no way rebellious. I am in no way contrarian. I just want people to like me,” she adds.

Stewart has worked steadily since the “Twilight” series ended, but her career has been marked by ups and downs.

Her reputation suffered a blow in 2012 when she was caught in a cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders, her director in the film “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Sanders was married with two children and 19 years older. She was also still dating Pattinson at the time, and they were living together.

Although the film did middling well, the uproar caused her to be written out of the sequel, “The Huntsman.” The 2016 film featured co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron, along with new castmembers Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain and Rob Brydon.

Stewart insisted at the time the scandal did not lead to the loss of her lead role. To the contrary, she said she booted the part, although producers blindsided her with the news she was out.

Without her, “The Huntsman” only grossed $164 million worldwide, compared with $397 million for “Snow White.”

Despite her numerous films, and some outstanding performances, Hollywood has repeatedly snubbed her. She’s never been even nominated for an Oscar or Golden Globe. But she did win France’s highest acting honor, The Cesar.

Stewart appeared in her first role as an openly lesbian character in 2016’s “Certain Women.” The movie focused on the “intersecting lives” of women in rural Montana who face different challenges in their lives.

Before that, a number of her roles were ambiguous, although she played Nicholas Hoult’s on-screen lover in the sci-fi movie “Equals.”

Her last romantic lead part was in Woody Allen’s comedy-drama, “Cafe Society,” opposite Jesse Eisenberg.

In her latest film, “Charlie’s Angels,” Stewart will star opposite Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as Charlie’s three “angels.”

The action comedy film is directed by Elizabeth Banks. It holds out the possibility of a sequel depending on its box office performance.

It’s scheduled for release by Sony on Nov. 15, kick-offing the holiday film season. Check out the trailer below.
