Selena Gomez steps out in a low-cut in dress and high hair in her new video for “Love You Like a Love Song.” Gomez calls the video “the craziest thin I’ve ever done.” The Disney sweetheart can afford to go a little crazy.

The video takes her her to a karaoke club and cuts to a convertible with a young guy. She sports a ’60s style beehive hairdo and sleek cat’s-eye sun glasses, a la ’60s sex kitten Bridget Bardot.

“Sometimes when you’re in love, there are things you can’t really explain and it doesn’t make sense. That’s how I feel when I’m in love,” she says of the song.

“I thought that the song is saying what every person feels when you’re in love with someone,” she added.

“For me, it’s like the honeymoon stage. ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ is about that first beginning and that rush, and there’s a fun techno beat to it.”

Selena is reportedly dating teen sensation Justin Bieber, although it’s unclear exactly how far the relationship goes.

The video was infamous before it went public after photos surfaced showing Selena riding a horse dyed purple.

The scene touched off protests from other artists and animal rights groups for what they claimed was a humilating depiction of the horse. (Really!)

The animal was never harmed, but the brouhaha was enough to cause producers to cut the scene from the video.

Gomez also was reportedly “not so comfortable with the whole concept.”

The single is the first off her new album When the Sun Goes Down. It’s due for release June 28.
