Chris Evans’ bone-crushing stunts and the super special effects of Captain America: The First Avenger are detailed in two new clips that provide more than nine minutes of behind-the-scenes footage of the movie being made.

The videos show some filming, but just as intriguing are shots of the scene preparation, many of which were shot in massive interior and exterior sets.

The clips are artfully edited to prevent the release of any new spoilers. Most of the shots involve movie segments that have already appeared in teasers and trailers.

In addition to Evans, the movie stars Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson, Tommy Lee Jones and Toby Jones.

The film hits theaters on July 22 in 2D and 3D.

Four days before the film’s July 22 release, video game publisher Sega will launch tie-in video game: “Captain America: Super Soldier” for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and the Nintendo DS and 3DS.

The third-person action title features an original story that meshes with the film; Captain America battles his nemesis the Red Skull and his horde of Hydra forces.

Check out the clips below and buy the game through TheImproper to save 25 percent. The game retails for $49.99 but click the link above and you can get it for $37.49 (Save $12.50) through amazon.com.
