Kim Kardashian and NBA star Kris Humphries tied the knot Saturday night in a lavish ceremony that was as much a marriage between commerce and celebrity.
The spectacle was elaborately staged and included a supporting list of A-List to D-List celebrities.
The wedding, at a $19 million estate in posh Monticito, just outside Santa Barbara, went down at 6:30pm in a 30-minute service.
Family members and celebrity guests filled the seats, while the ever present Ryan Seacrest rode herd over the ceremony, which he is producing for an E! Entertainment special.

Security was especially tight to prevent photos from hitting the Internet and spoiling her $1 million plus deal to provide exclusive footage to the cable entertainment network and celebrity tabloid People.
The guest list was expansive, attesting to Kim’s marketing power. It included Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato.
Kim wore an ivory custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and “epic” train, according to her rep.
Her shoes were Guiseppe Zanotti, and good friend Lorraine Schwartz designed her stunning engagement ring.
The couple left their Montecito hotel Sunday (Aug. 21), as man and wife. Both looked drained from the ceremony and undoubtedly a night of partying.
Momager Kris Jenner was conspicuous in a white dress adorned with a gigantic bow. (Wasn’t the bride the only one supposed to wear white?)
On Sunday, Kris, 55, and sporting a new face lift, wore a cleavage baring leopard print fitted frock, with a black cardigan and dark sunglasses. (Was it her wedding too?)
In another break from tradition, Kim kept her veil up and off he face as she walked down the aisle with step-father Bruce Jenner.
Kim jumped out of her wedding dress and into a Vera Wang mermaid gown for the post-wedding reception.
Momager Kris was spotted in her own Vera Wang-designed dress. (This is getting strange).
Kim’s co-maids of honor were sisters Kourtney, 32, and Khloe, 27. Bridesmaids included Kendall, 15, and Kylie Jenner, 14, and Kris’ sister Kaela.
Humphries, 26, wore a white peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants with white shirt and white bow tie by Ermenegildo Zegna.
It was hard to tell where the wedding ended and the product endorsements began. They were flawlessly meshed together.
But Kim is profiting in more ways than one. She not only gets a husband, but a big payday.
People magazine has bought the rights for the exclusive photographs for $1.5 million.
She pocketed $300,000 for the engagement announcement in May and $100,000 from OK! magazine for the bridal shower photos.
