Kim Kardashian gives new meaning to the term “oily.” She slithers and slides in a racy new video clip for her single “Jam (Turn it Up)” and, frankly, it’s not that bad.
Kim released the single in March in a bid to expand her career beyond reality television. If she had released the video back then she would have beat Beyonce to the punch for slinking around in oil.
Beyonce released a video for her song “1+1,” and she wears a number of revealing outfits, gets doused with water and uses the same oily effect.
Maybe that’s why “someone” leaked Kim’s 56-second video teaser clip. She had the concept first!
Not that it really matters. Her song met with less than enthusiastic reviews. It never charted.
But it was definitely better than reality star rival LuAnn de Lesseps’ croaky “Chic C’est La Vie,” which means something in French.
And Paris Hilton’s clunker “Nothing in this World.”
In her clip, Kim crawls on all fours, rolls on her back and flashes come hither looks at the camera.
The camera seems to spend an inordinate amount of time focusing on her short pink hot pants from behind in a shot that was almost too clinical of her crotch.
Another close up features second best feature, her luscious lips, although her gorgeous eyes are hidden behind mirrored aviator sunglasses.
Last May, after the song debuted to poor reviews sister Khloe Kardashian came to Kim’s defense.
“The song was for charity; it wasn’t for her to have a recording deal,” she told MTV.
“[It was] something she just wanted to be for herself and for fun, so the video she made just for herself,’ she said.
“It was never meant to be played publicly.”
Maybe so, but check out the video tease below, nonetheless.
