Michelle Williams Oscar Buzz; Marilyn Trailer Hot (watch!) 1Michelle Williams dazzles in a new trailer for her upcoming movie, “My Week With Marilyn,” in a period film about the ’50s sex siren’s four-month stay in the UK to film a movie and her torrid affair.

Williams seems to capture the essence of Monroe, who set the bar for Hollywood sex kittens in the 1950s.

She’s backed by an all-star cast that includes Judi Dench as Sybil Thorndike, Julia Ormond as Vivien Leigh, Dominic Cooper as Monroe’s manager Milton Greene, and Emma Watson as wardrobe assistant Lucy.

The film covers a period in Monroe’s troubled life when she is at the height of her fame.

She has just married playwright Arthur Miller and arrived in London to shoot her film “The Prince and the Showgirl.”

She touches off a media-frenzy, but finds escape with young filmmaker Colin Clark, played by Eddie Redmayne.

Clark is an assistant to acting legend Laurence Olivier, who plays opposite Marilyn in the film.

He spends a romantic week with the starlet after Miller flies back to the United States to attend to business.

Williams initially turned down the role because she thought it was too daunting. But she later relented and appears to give a career-topping performance.

“I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist, eventually. Physically and vocally, everything about her is different from me,” she told London’s Daily Mail.

“There was just something about that image of her—so lovely and joyful and free. I’ve always thought of her as that woman-child, not an icon, which is probably why I let myself approach the role,” she said in another interview in Vogue.

The film will hit theaters next month. November 18. Check out the trailer below:
