R&B singer Kelly Rowland has seen the trend in pop music and decided to get ahead of the curve with a sizzling new video for her single “Lay it on Me.” Move over Beyonce.

Rowland, who was one part of the trio Destiny’s Child, with Beyonce and Michelle Williams, takes the song’s title to heart and lays on a heavy does of sexuality in the four-minute clip.

She performs with rapper Big Sean and a slew of scantily clad dancers. She even works in a baby elephant!

Go Gurl!

Rowland shot the video with director Sarah Chatfield, who returns after helming Rowland’s video for single “Motivation” with with Lil Wayne.

Frank Gatson Jr., who has worked on Beyoncé’s videos, choreographed the dancing. Hopefully he came up with his own moves.

In the video, Rowland changes costumes at least four times, but is mostly seen in a sexy white swimsuit, when dancers aren’t crawling all over her that is.

The lyrics are just as racy.

Rowland is also working on a video for her next single “Down For Whatever,” a dance track, and still has her day job as a mentor on the UK talent show “X Factor.”

Check out the video below and her photos from the shoot.
