Jennifer Aniston has been named the Hottest Woman of All Time, beating out Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, Marilyn Monroe and Kim Kardashian in what has to be a very unscientific poll by Men’s Health magazine. Are they kidding?

“Funny is sexy, and Jennifer Aniston is funny. Her down-to-earth persona makes her seem attainable,” wrote the magazine.

“Other sex symbols drift toward one-dimensionality, becoming flat icons in the process, but throughout her career Aniston has remained sexy, funny, and unmistakably real,” it said.

The 42-year-old actress topped her former love rival Angelina Jolie, who has long been considered to be the sexier of the two, and, well, she has Brad Pitt.

Jolie finished a lowly tenth on the list.

The magazine seems to have stretched its credibility a little too thin by proclaiming these women the “sexiest of all time.”

More than likely the selection process was conducted by someone who has a weird idea of beauty–trending toward trashy pinup types– or has the mentality of 14-year-old.

If Aniston gets points for being funny, sexy and obtainable, what about Raquel Welch, Marilyn Monroe and Britney Spears, who finished in the top five.

The runners-up add up to a b-list actress; a cheesy deranged blonde and another ditzy, not-all-there blonde, none of which are paragons of healthy living.

Sounds more like the poll was conducted by Mental Health magazine.

If Monroe made the list, what about such contemporaries as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn?

Instead the magazine chose Ursula Andress and Bettie Paige.

Talk about one dimensional and flat.

The only two who are even remotely worthy of such an honor are Jane Fonda and Jolie, who finished ninth and tenth respectively.
