Christina Ricci adds a glamorous fashion industry edge to Emmy, the industry trade magazine for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, amid rumors her television show, “Pan Am” could be canceled at the end of the year.

Ricci, 31, is better known as a big screen actress for such films as 2003’s “Monster” with Charlize Theron, 2008’s “Speed Racer,” and the 1999 film “Sleepy Hollow” with Johnny Depp.

ABC’s “Pan Am” is her first full-fledged television series, although she’s appeared in a number of one-episode arcs on television in shows such as “Ally McBeal” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

The series, a “Mad Men” knock off, follows the lives of Pan Am stewardesses, back when they were hired for their looks and tail fins.

Ironically, her feature spread and cover for the magazine comes at a time when the series’ future is clouded.

Karine Vanasse, who stars in the series, dropped a bomb when she tweeted that the show is only coming back for one more episode after Christmas.

But ABC reps have since issued a statement saying the show will air its full 13-episode run, plus a bonus episode, according to E! Online.

In her Emmy shoot, Ricci wears Chanel, Marchesa, Giambattista Valli and Jill Stuart, while the accompanying feature focuses on her television role.

“It’s like an ultimate flight of fantasy. We’re women living in 2011 and we get to go way back and dress up every day in vintage clothes and be in a completely different world,” she said.

Ricci said she decided to venture into a full-run television series because the show was “going to be well done and beautiful.”

“I saw this as being a beautiful show, something that would be fun,” she said.

The ABC show fell to a series low in the ratings on Sunday night along with the networks entire line up.

Lead in “Desperate Housewives” at 9pm dropped 13 percent compared with its last original episode three weeks ago, hitting a series low of 2.6/6 and 8 million total viewers.

That left “Pan Am,” which followed at 10pm, down 11 percent to a series low of 1.6/4 and 4.6 million total viewers, according to The Wrap.
