Angelina Jolie showed off her long, lean legs in a black strapless gown at the 2012 Academy Awards, capturing the perfect blend of classic and sexy.

The cinched waist on her form-fitting Atelier Versace dress accentuated Angelina’s slender waist and creamy-white shoulders, although her thin frame raised eyebrows.

Jolie, 36, was accompanied on the Oscar red carpet by partner Brad Pitt, 48, who looked dashing in a black Tom Ford tuxedo. Pitt’s parents were also there to watch as Brad contended for best actor honors for his role in “Moneyball.”

Angelina presented at this year’s Oscars and used her moment on stage to flash her leg all the way up to the top of her thigh. The moment was so mesmerizing, someone created a Twitter page for Jolie’s leg and it immediately attracted 10,000 followers.

Her leg, specifically her right leg, briefly trended on Twitter and commenters remarked on the social networking site about what was called her “slightly awkward and over-enthusiastic” posing. And some wondered, why only the right leg?

Angelina seemed determined to flash some of the sexiness for which she is famous, after dressing conservatively during red carpet appearances for the premiere of her war movie, “In the Land of Blood and Honey.”

Angelina revealed that she was overcome with anxiety just before the film wrapped. “I had a complete emotional breakdown in the shower and Brad found me just crying,” Jolie, said during her first live web chat in January 2012.

“I suddenly felt the responsibility and I felt very small and, ‘Who am I to take this on and think that I could make a difference? What have I done?’ I had a complete meltdown.”

At the Oscars, however, Jolie seemed to enjoy the attention and reveled in striking a pose for the cameras. During her presentation, she held her red carpet pose for several seconds with her hand on her hip and the leg on full display, laughing.

It was vintage Angelina. Check out the videos below, and for more photos go to INFDaily.
