Kim Kardashian Tweets Prayers to Arabs, Jews; Offends Both 1Kim Kardashian has offended animal lovers, A-list movie stars and Beyonce. Now add to the list Arabs and Jews. Apparently to show she’s “up on the news,” she delved into the growing confrontation between Hamas and Israel with a series of tweets that offended both sides in the conflict.

Kardashian is no Benjamin Disraeli. She knows scant to nothing about international affairs and it shows.

In the latest brouhaha, she tweeted “Praying for everyone in Israel.” That upset Arab fans because it appeared as though she is taking sides in the conflict brewing in Gaza.

She responded by tweeting “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world!” Oops. Neither Israel, the United States nor most Western nations recognize the existence of “Palestine.”

In fact there has never been a modern nation named “Palestine.” That’s what Arab militants call Israel. Needless to say, Jews are not happy.

After protests started pouring in, Kim deleted both Tweets and tried to “own up” to her mistakes, according to gossip site TMZ.

“Earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize,” she said.

“The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs there are countless innocent people involved who didn’t choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution. I also pray for all the other people around the world who are caught in similar crossfires.”

She obviously still doesn’t get it.
