OJ Simpson-Nicole Brown SimpsonNicole Brown Simpson, wife of O.J. Simpson, may have been killed by Glen Rogers, a drifter who once said he killed 50 people and has been convicted of at least two murders. But the football superstar may still have had an indirect hand in his ex-wife’s death.

The bizarre case of Rogers, who is awaiting a death sentence in Florida, is the subject of a new documentary by the television show, “Investigation Discovery.”

Brown-Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were found brutally murdered in 1994. They both had been stabbed repeatedly and brutally. The former football star became a prime suspect and was tried, but acquitted of the crimes in a sensational Hollywood trial.

Simpson vowed then that he would spend the rest of his life searching for the real killer or killers, but made no real effort to investigate the case. He was convicted in a civil wrongful death lawsuit and ordered to pay millions of dollars in damages to Goldman’s parents and Brown-Simpson’s relatives.

Rogers allegedly boasted about committing the crime after he was convicted and sentenced to death for the murders of two other women. But the documentary claims that his name never serviced in the original murder investigation, because only Simpson knew of his involvement and kept it secret.

The convicted murderer claims Simpson hired him to break into his ex wife’s home to steal $20,000 earrings. Simpson allegedly told him to kill “the bit*h’ if necessary.

Simpson is currently in jail on robbery charges.
