bieber-whiteferrari-frontJustin Bieber has been playing a dangerous game for months with paparazzi, who have pursued him on wreckless chases around Los Angeles. Now that a photographer has died, there’s plenty of blame to go around.

The tragic accident happened after photographer Chris Guerra saw Justin’s hard-to-miss white Ferrari pulled over again by police.

The car was spotted speeding. Police say Bieber wasn’t behind the wheel, or in the car. Rapper Lil Twist was driving, according to gossip site TMZ. The paparazzi was in hot pursuit of the car at the time.

In any event, Twist was told to pull over on Sepulveda Blvd. The paparazzo crossed the road to take photos and was struck and killed by another motorist while returning to his car, according to several reports.

He was told twice by police to go back to his car, according to the gossip site.

Bieber responded to the accident with a statement:

“While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim,” he said. “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders and the photographers themselves.”

The 19-year-old rapper was partying with Bieber at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, when he took Justin’s high-powered white Ferrari out for a spin.

While Justin bears no direct responsibility, it could have just as easily been him. He’s been involved in a slew of traffic violations including high-speed chases with photographers.

Justin Bieber Another Traffic Stop: Why Is He Still Driving?

TheImproper reported back in November following Bieber’s last run-in with the police that he’d accumulated enough traffic violations to have his license suspended. Yet he continued to drive.

He was last stopped Nov. 13 for making an illegal turn and police also discovered that his registration was expired. In July, he was pulled over for driving 80 mph trying to elude paparazzi and was charged for speeding. He was cited for going 90 mph in his Range Rover last year and has had at least one accident.

While paparazzi are an ever-present nuisance for celebrities, trying to lose them in traffic by speeding is foolish and immature. It’s been only a matter of time for something like this to happen. There’s definitely plenty of blame to go around.
