lindsaylohan-inappcomedy01Lindsay Lohan has been reduced to playing a caricature of herself. She pops up in the new red-band trailer for “InAPPropriate Comedy,” the Adrien Brody and Rob Schneider film that takes a shot a political correctness.

Amid the non-stop potty jokes and racial insensitivity, Lohan appears as Marilyn Monroe from her classic 1955 film “The Seven-Year Itch.”

Monroe made movie history with her iconic scene standing over a New York City subway grate as her white dress billows up from the on-rushing air of a passing subway train below the street.

Lindsay mostly makes fun of it. She appears toward the end of the trailer confronting a horde of photographers. When they’re finally done flashing their strobes, she asks, “Now, can I shoot you?”

The photographers are all too happy to oblige until Lindsay pulls out two automatics and starts blazing away. It’s Lohan’s fantasy dream-sequence, to take “ultimate revenge on the salivating paparazzi who haunt her.”

Lohan’s last full screen role, in the television movie “Liz & Dick” was mostly trashed by the critics. In the upcoming “Scary Movie 5,” a comedy-horror parody, she plays herself.

She has the lead role with porn star James Deen in the Paul Schrader, Bret Easton Ellis erotic thriller “The Canyons.” But judging from recent trailers, the film looks like an unmitigated disaster.
