Jon Hamm’s Don Draper is back, so to speak, with a tip off about the upcoming season of “Mad Men” Season 6. Show creator Matt Weiner, who’s very secretive about plot details, only offerd a taste of what’s to come in four new photos.

The move has touched off a cottage industry on the Web as fans try to decipher what the photos reveal about the characters.

It’s yours for the reading. Our take is, whatever happens, it’s still a man’s world and the women are proud of it. The show is set in the 1960s, long before social consciousness and political correctness spoiled the party.

It’s also pretty clear life is still all about cigarettes, cocktails and broads, an attitude that Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack exemplified back in the day when Las Vegas really was a sin city.

Note in one photo, for example, how obediently Elisabeth Moss’s Peggy Olson sits on the stairs while two men tower over her. She knows her place, even if she doesn’t fully accept it.

In another photo, there’s not question where Don’s head is at–not in the room with his family. His wife Megan, ex-wife Betty and teen daughter Sally hover around him. Like planets, they depend on his gravity to keep them in orbit. But he can only ask himself: “How did I get here?”

Check out the photos and share your own interpretation about the upcoming season. It premieres Sunday, April 7 at 9pm Eastern on AMC, then jumps to 10pm the following week, April 14. And, follow TheImproper on Twitter for all the latest Mad Men updates.
