Lana Del Rey blends her music with marketing for the new Jaguar sports car.

Lana Del Rey’s blend of music and marketing with carmaker Jaguar has yielded a new video for her song “Burning Desire” and will soon take her to the big screen in a short film produced by famed sic-fi Director Ridley Scott’s company.

The tune, supposedly inspired by the car and written by Del Rey, is one of eight new tracks on her amped up Born to Die album, “The Paradise Edition.”

The film was shot in October in South America and will be released sometime this year. It stars Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis. Del Rey has talked about transitioning into to films, and this may be her entre, presuming she, and not just her music, is in it.

Del Rey helped unveil the new car in Paris last September. It’s first two-seater built by Jaguar since the iconic E-type was launched 50 years ago, according to the company.

The E-type design is such a classic, one of the vintage cars is on display in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

In the video she wears a vintage Ghost floor-length silk dress. Del Rey filmed the video on location in South East London at the infamous Rivoli Ballroom.

It was a theater until the 1950s, when it was transformed, and it’s the only remaining ballroom from the period in London, according to the company.

Del Rey, real name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant has been in a relationship with Kassidy frontman Barrie-James O’Neill since August 2011, according to her biography.
